We are pleased to announce this incredibly exciting opportunity to be part of Qatar Airways Cargo Operations team as a Cargo Operations Policy & Procedure Manager in our office in Doha.
We care, we lead and we have fun managing small to large-scale business transformation projects to offer simple service to our customers while connecting global communities.
The role will be responsible for creating, maintaining, updating and approving Cargo Operations documentation ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, IATA and company standards.
Manages the Content Documentation Management System (CDMS) database and publishes Cargo Operations documents ensuring adequate retention and accessibility to employees and relevant external parties.
Some of the tasks include:
- Design approval workflows and manage the Content Documentation Management System (CDMS) database ensuring all relevant internal and regulatory approvals are obtained before publication.
- Provide leadership and guidance in writing technical documents, identify and investigate the need for documents of various types, create templates, draft style guides, develop documentationrelated training materials, and manage technical writers (Policy & Procedures Specialists) to ensure documentation standards and always met.
- Manage access and approval to Content Documentation Management System (CDMS), other documentation platforms and QHub ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
- Identify, allocate and monitor documentation access/user modification rights to staff responsible for creating or updating documentation in CDMS to prevent unauthorized access.
- Conduct and manage the yearly needanalysis for IATA manuals for the entire cargo operations network, preparing budget and ensuring costeffective solutions are adopted.
- Identify and facilitate mechanisms to distribute documentation fostering the introduction of technology to ensure the end users have easy access to documentation required to be used in the conduct or support of the operations.

Qualifications:
About you
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 7 years of experience in Air Cargo ground handling preferably in warehouse and aircraft.
- Abilities to design, develop and implement cargo operations documentation systems, procedures and policies in compliance with regulatory of IATA requirements and company standards.
- Knowledge of documentation management system and associated control mechanism
- Experience with content document management system (CDMS) is an advantage
- Excellent command of the English language both verbally and in writing
- Advanced MS Office
- Stakeholder management skills
- Organizational effectiveness and operation management
