Responsibility:

  • Prepare shop drawings and as built for all commercial / industrial construction activities.
  • Backingup Site Engineers for drawing references
  • Gives detailed information with the approved shop drawing.
  • Prepares shop drawing as per project requirements, i.e. electromechanical, plumbing.
  • Following assignments for similar duties given by the Engineering Head.
  • Coordinate drawing reviews and updates with Site Engineers, subcontractors and Consultants.
  • Establish and maintain wellorganized filing and retrieval system for all drawings.
  • Diploma or Certificate in Computerized Drafting (Auto Cad, Architectural Cad) from an accredited institution, supplement by ongoing updating of AutoCAD releases (ie Auto Cad 2000, version 14)
  • Minimum of 7 years of directly related experience in the preparation of construction drawings, preferably assigned directly to sites.
  • Sound knowledge of Plotter hardware and software.
  • Some basic knowledge of building code requirements an asset.
  • Good communications and problem solving skills; ability to work well with site and office staff to achieve high quality results.

Salary:
QAR7, QAR9,000.00 per month
