Ensure assigned tasks are well managed in accordance with overall MP engineering management plan, Projects Execution Plan and contractual requirements that includes:

  • Support MP projects for planning, organizing, execution and control of full life cycle of Process & Safety engineering activities/scope from initiation to close out.
  • Ensure Process& Safety Engineering Dossier for various packages are delivered with a robust engineering definition and fit for purpose design that can be procured, fabricated, transported, installed, and operated safely, meeting the requirements of COMPANY standard, project basis of design, and SOR.
  • The scope of activities will concern green field (new development), brownfield activities (on existing platforms) and integration works. The activities include the review and comment of engineering and vendor documentation to ensure compliance with design dossier, SOR, Company specifications
  • Major Projects involve the development of new offshore platforms, integration to the existing facilities, installation of subsea pipelines, debottlenecking of existing functions, all these activities will be executed across several international sites. Projects involves complex interfaces with other entities of COMPANY.
  • Possibility of multiple worldwide missions or relocations to followup engineering development with various contractors.

About this role

  • Support MP Projects team in addressing the process and technical safety concerns and queries;
  • Identify issues and blocking points related to Process & Safety Engineering Disciplines, define and manage clear way forward for these decisions to be made and track the execution within various packages;
  • Coordinate Weekly meetings with Process& Safety Engineering Teams to review technical issues and identify required supports from EMT;
  • Define, follow up and evaluate the process and safety discipline studies to be carried out in the course of the project' ensure the studies completed as per approved project gate and maturity index;
  • Liaise with process and safety leads for various packages to identify/review the protentional deviations/derogations to the COMPANY to ensure deviation package is mature for CMS submission and approval;
  • Identify any optimization / improvement in the design dossier to be implemented in the early stage of detailed design;
  • Work closely with Project Process & Safety Leads to plan, prepare and lead the disciplines kickoff meeting with EPC Contractor;
  • Assist Process and Safety disciplines in preparation of project response to Contractor and Vendors request on engineering design clarifications and TQRs;
  • Ensure that relevant feedback/lesson learned from previous similar projects are considered in the design performance;
  • Assist in preparation and attend to project studies including HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, Model review constructability review, PRs and other studies as directed by Head of Engineering Support;
  • Assist Projects in provide technical answers and clarifications to internal project audit sessions (PR, HAZID, etc);
  • Assist Lead Engineering Methods to monitor the maturity index of Process & Safety Disciplines for the next to come technical reviews;
  • Participate in weekly and monthly engineering meetings with Contractors, and in specific ad hoc meetings as required;
  • Assist in preparation of engineering reports detailing Process and Safety disciplines progress across technical issues to ensure accurate and timely information available for decision making;
  • Assist in update the SOR (parts to be updated) following Engineering progress and review any SCN (SOR change notice) related to process and safety disciplines;
  • Assist with overall project closeout, including completion documents, Asbuilt, engineering, deficiency corrections and handover process. Support MP Projects team in addressing the process and technical safety concerns and queries;
  • Interface and coordinate within EMT and with COMPANY entities to ensure required support and information requested by packages are delivered in timely manner and in quality;
  • Coordinate with shareholders, and external parties on technical support and reviews needed by projects that includes preparation of scope of work and RFHOS, obtaining the required approvals, coordination of meetings and to ensure the required engineering materials are delivered in quality and due time;
  • Support the closure of project technical review points that need liaising with other COMPANY entities;
  • Participate in weekly and monthly engineering meetings with Contractors, and in specific ad hoc meetings as required by packages/projects;
  • Support potential deviations from the COMPANY referential with the Engineering Manager and Technical Authority for final decision across all packages, communicate the result information through all packages and EMT.
