  • Supports the LeadMechanical Engineer, assists and ensure the liaison with the otherProject Team members asapplicable.
  • Ensure that allactivities and works in the area of responsibility are done in fullcompliance with the HSE requirements of Qafco, Qafco 7 and therelevant Authorities.
  • Ensureimplementation of the Qafco 7 Contract requirements in area ofresponsibility and report any deviation to the Project Managerthrough the lineresponsible
  • Activelycontribute to safety walks, reporting of accidents andinvestigation ofaccidents
  • Ensure that theworks are being done in accordance with the Quality requirements ofthe Project.
  • Follow up EPCCContractor and Subcontractors within own discipline scope duringengineering and construction phases in order to assure the qualityand safety aspects of thework.
  • Follow up EPCCContractor/Subcontractors with regard to interpretation and properimplementation of the technical content of the EPCC Contractdocuments.
  • Follow up andreport on the progress including detection of deviation from theschedule.
  • Verify status ofMechanical Completion activities and EPCC Contractor'sachievement ofmilestones
  • Assist LeadEngineer incoordination of the discipline scope and activitytowards Qafco
  • Ensure thatEPCC Contractor schedule is commissioning driven and follow upschedule and progress including detection of deviation from theEPCC Contractschedule,
  • Follow up andmonitor all relevant critical path activities throughout theProject execution,
  • Verifystatus of Mechanical Completionactivities,
  • Verify EPCCContractor's achievement of milestones in accordance withthe requirements of EPCCContract,
  • Assists theCommissioning team in Punch items categorization, tracking andresolution for systems mechanicalcompletion,
  • Verify and closepunch items in area ofresponsibility.
  • Coordinateidentification, compilation and implementation of all lessonslearned,
  • Support LeadMechanical Engineer in coordinating the training of the Companyteam to enable them to undertake the commissioning, start up andinstallation, of the plant within disciplinescope,
  • Ensure that allimplemented Project process technologies and its operation aspectsare proven,
  • Participate andsupport in verifying the Performance Test of the Project whenperformed under the responsibility and supervision of EPCCContractor and confirm full compliance with the requirements setforth in EPCCContract,
  • Ensure all tie-inswithin discipline scope required from the company are completed andready for Hook-up/installation in accordance withschedule/quality.
  • Identify,report and follow up risks within own area ofresponsibility.
