The Leather operator will be responsible forrestoration and repair of leather, vinyl, velour, cloth, and hardplastics commonly found in the markets of Furniture / carpet .. Ourfocus is restoring and repairing common defects such as worn andfaded interior components in leather upholstery, headliners, burnsand broken plastic or composite molding.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE,SKILL AND ABILITY:

The individualmust possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and beable to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform theessential functions of the job, with or without reasonableaccommodation.

  • Monitoring andoverseeing Dailyoperations.
  • restorationand repair of leather, vinyl, velour, cloth, and hard plasticscommonly found in the markets of Furniture /carpet
  • restoring andrepairing common defects such as worn and faded interior componentsin leather upholstery, headliners, burns and broken plastic orcompositemolding.
  • Maintaining aclean, hazard-free workenvironment.
  • Inspect jobsupon completion and ensure areas areclean.
  • Work with thesupervisors to completetask.
  • Respond to emergencycalls as needed.
  • Operatetools and equipment according to established safetyprocedures.
  • Ensure thatequipment is in safe operatingcondition.
  • Followestablished safety procedures and techniques to perform job dutiesincluding lifting, climbing,etc.
  • Correct unsafeconditions in work area and report any conditions that are notcorrectable to supervisor immediately. Performs other duties asassigned by EngineeringSupervisor.
  • Follow upCompany and department safety and security policies and proceduresto ensure a clean, safe, and secureenvironment.
  • Attend alldepartmental trainings and other trainingprogram.
  • Report work relatedaccidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to theshift in charge.
  • Emergencies– To be available for any emergencies and act in aprofessional manner to protect our Guests, Staffs and preserve theHotel Property and its system. Follow Hotel Emergencyplan.
  • To complete thepersonal daily job record, time book accurately, and keep ready forinspection
