  • Provide management and technical directionfor all facets of the division (scheduling,planning,
reporting, change order cost estimating andcost engineering) by establishing a set ofproject
control procedures, guidelines and flow charts tosuit project requirements and needs to
support managementdecision making process.

  • Lead project controlactivities, coordinating input from PMT functions such asengineering,
construction, etc.

  • Responsiblefor ensuring effective project control measures are executed by theContractor
and sub-contractor organisations, withparticular emphasis on schedule management,
planning andprogress monitoring, recommend modifications to management toensure
Company and PMT standards and requirements aremet.

  • Provide an interface between Project Manager,Business Manager, PMT members and EPC
Contractor withrespect to cost and schedule performance, reporting andapprovals.

  • Responsible for implementing and updatingthe Project Control Plan, as required.
  • Coordinate thecollecting, consolidating, analysing and reporting all project costand schedule,
control, trend and progress measurementinformation to ensure overall project status is
assessedand potential problem areas identified. Produces cost estimates onthe project as
requested by ProjectLeadership.

  • Review project changes evaluating anyschedule and/or cost impact; responsiblefor
incorporating the effect and impact of approvedchanges into overall cost and schedule
stewardship andreporting.

  • Manage project workforce planning andresourcing, ensuring changes are managed fairlyusing
consistent decision making criteria across theproject.

  • Monitor Contractor s performance and progressin areas of project controls, scheduling,
reporting,progress monitoring and cost estimating assessing any discrepanciesand reverting
to Contractor forclarifications/corrections. Establishes and maintains appropriateplanning
systems, fully integrated, and appropriate forthe project.
