JobSummary:

Asa General Labourer, we are looking for a quick learner that cantake direction and follow requests easily. You will be completingany task(s) that the client may need assistance with. Everydaycould be something new, making this role ideal for someone wholikes versatility in their work.

Thereis no experience necessary for this role, however past experiencein any construction role would be an advantage You do not need tosupply your own tools, just your (CSA approved) steel toed safetyboots. We supply the PPE that you need to get started (hard hat,hi-visvest.)

KeyResponsibilities:

• Keepingthe construction site safe, clean andtidy
• Handlingand transporting materials around thesite
• Followinginstructions from supervisors to perform manual labourtasks
• Assistingskilled labourers onsite
• Useof basic handtools

Requirements:

• Mustbe able to lift 50lbs(23kg)
• Abilityto work as part of ateam
• Advancedproficiency with English (reading, writing and speaking)
• Ableto follow strict health and safety guidelines
• Mustbe legally permitted to work withinCanada

WorkConditions:
Thisrole may require you to work in all weather conditions, inside andoutside. Locations of work may vary within the radius of yourchosen location: Toronto, Vancouver, Victoria (BC) or Kelowna (BC).Sourcing your own means of transportation to and from your workinglocation will be required (the majority of our work-force usepublic transit with no issues)
Weschedule our workers on a 40 hour per week basis (Monday-Friday),with pay days falling bi-weekly on a Friday. Shift times may vary,however our usual shift is 7:30am-3:30pm (8 hours). Overtime may berequired on occasion and will be paid within the provincialemployee pay legislation guidelines.
