Job PurposeSummary::

The incumbent will assume prime responsibilityfor the group financial budgeting and business planning analyzingand deploying the latest budgeting/ forecasting tools anddeveloping the Groups budgetary policy/ framework and the relatedbudgetary business planning templates and coordinating ratingagencies.

Essential Duties& Responsibilities by Dimensions::

A. Shareholder& Financial:

• Assist theEVP GFSBP to create longterm financial strategies to maximizeshareholder value whilst pursuing

prudent policies.

• Develop/implementand monitor annual budgets for all divisions/departments/units ofthe Group in conjunction with

therelevant division/department/unit heads in consultation with theEVP GFSBP.

• Provide management withregular reports on progress towards targets flagging variations andperforming initial

checks on reasonsfor under/over achievement.

• Provideinputs in developing/ creating the Key Performance Indicators(KPIs) for performance monitoringand

quality measurement purposespertaining to personnel responsible for Group Financial Budgetingand Business

Planning within Group FinancialControl and monitor their achievements on periodicbasis.

• Ensure that relevant MISreports are prepared and presented to the management/the Board ontime to enable them

to monitorbusiness performance closely and taking timely correctiveactions.

• Maintains and Improvesrelations and communications between the bank and its shareholdersthe investing public

media and othermembers of the financial community including financial analysts andinstitutional investors to

increase the valueand marketability of the banks shareprice.

• Responsible for coordinatingall aspects with regard of information flow to ShareholdersReporters Analysts and

RatingAgencies.

• Implements KPIs and bestpractices for SVP Financial Budgeting and Business Planningrole.
• Promote cost consciousness and efficiencyand enhance productivity to minimize cost avoid waste andoptimize

benefits for thebank

B. Customer (Internal &External):

• Coordinate with the variousheads of divisions/departments/units to ensure the implementationof the budgeting

exercise.

• Build and maintain strongand effective relationship with all other related departments andunits to achieve the

Groups goals/objectives.

• Liaise with the Groups ITDepartment to ensure budgetary reporting needs of the Groupsbusiness lines are timely

resolved/attended to to the extent these are dependent on requiredsystem enhancements.

• Provide timelyand accurate information to the external and internal auditors andthe Compliance function as and

whenrequired. To assist customers in all their queries on Banks productand seek solution to theirrequests.

• Maintain activities inaccordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internaldepartments/units to achieve

improvements in turnaround time.

• Buildand maintain strong/effective relationships with relateddepartments/units to achieve the Groupsobjectives.

C. Internal (ProcessesProducts Regulatory):

• Oversee thebudgeting forecasting and business planning of Group performancefor the domestic and international

businesses.

• Oversee analysis anddeployment of the latest budgeting/ forecastingtools.
• Develop/enhance budgeting andforecasting techniques and maintain budgeting and forecastingstandards for the

domestic andinternational businesses.

• Oversee thedevelopment of the Groups budgetary policy/ framework and therelated budgetary templates.
• Liaise with ITDepartment to develop/ design MIS reporting pack for budgeting& reporting purposes and submitthe

same to the Groups executivemanagement on timely basis.

• Enhancethe quality and consistency of the MIS produced for funds transferpricing reporting related issue.
• Identifyrequirements for updating the MIS and budgeting system and lead onthe implementation.
• Act as lead coordinator forthe establishment and/or update of the Euro Medium Term Notes(EMTN) program

established by theBank in overseas capital markets listing authorities (namely) UKListing Authority (UKLA) and

such other datarequest that may be requested by the overseas listingauthorities.

• Liaise with Joint LeadManagers (JLMs) Dealers and other external parties(namely)

Qatar Central Bank legalcounsel external auditors etc. to ensure timely

establishment/renewal of the EMTNprogrammed

• Liaise with Treasury andFinancial Accounting team with respect to drawdown(s)coupon

Payments and principalrepayments under the EMTNprogram.

• ContinuousImprovement:
• Set examples by leadingimprovement initiatives through crossfunctional teams ensuringsuccesses.
• Identify and encourage people toadopt practices better than the industrystandard.
• Continuously encourage and recognizethe importance of thinking outofthebox within theteam.
• Encourage solicit and reward innovativeideas even in daytoday issues.

D.Learning &Knowledge:

• Possess a superiorknowledge of business support services and maintain anunderstanding of all pertinent regulations as well as bestpractices pertaining to business supportservices.
• Responsible for developing andtraining Budgeting & Reporting team in the appropriateskills to ensure an effective and informativeMIS.
• Hold meetings with direct reports andassess their performance. Also take decisive action to ensurespeedy resolution of unresolved grievances or conflicts amongstBudgeting & Reportingpersonnel.
• Proactively identify areas forprofessional development of self and undertake developmentactivities.
• Seek out opportunities to remaincurrent with all developments in professionalfield.
• Take decisive action to ensure speedyresolution of unresolved grievances or conflicts within the teammembers.
• Identify development opportunities andactivities for staff and facilitate/coach them to improve theireffectives and prepare them to assume greaterresponsibilities.

E. LegalRegulatory and Risk FrameworkResponsibilities:

• Comply with allapplicable legal regulatory and internal compliance requirementsincluding but not limited to Group Compliance Policies andProcedures (AML & CTF Sanctions Policy Data ProtectionPolicy Fraud Control Policy Whistle Blowing Policy Conflict ofInterest and Insider DealingPolicy).
• Understand and effectively performyour role under the Three Lines of Defense principle to identifymeasure monitor manage and report risks.
• Ensuresystematic good outcomes for clients in accordance with ConductRisk policy.
• Support the framework of RCSA KRIIncident reporting and remediation as appropriate in accordancewith the Operational Risk Managementrequirements.
• Maintain appropriate knowledge toensure full qualification to undertake therole.
• Complete all mandatory training providedby the Bank attain and maintain the required levels ofcompetence.
• Attend mandatory (internal andexternal) seminars as instructed by theBank.

F.Other:

• Ensure high standards of dataprotection and confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitiveinformation.
• Maintaining utmost confidentialityconcerning customer and internal bank information obtained duringthe course of business and provide such information on a need toknow basis only to Senior Management of QNB Audit and Compliancefunctions and relevant Regulators.
• Maintainhigh professional standards to uphold QNBs reputation and tostrengthen its market leadership position.
• Allother ad hoc duties/activities related to QNB that management mightrequest from time totime.

Education/Experience Requirements::

• Bachelor/Master degree University Graduate/preferred with a Major inMarketing Banking Finance Accounting Economics BusinessAdministration or Information Technology (related field ofstudy)
• At least 15 years of relevant experiencepreferably within a highly rated international bank/ at least 6years in bank in a senior managerial capacity in the financialbudgeting & business planningfunction.
• Professional certification such asACCA CIMA CPA CA CMA CFA etc. is aplus.
