Job Description:

Position Summary:
The Senior Elevator Troubleshooter will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining elevator systems to ensure their optimal performance and safety. This role requires extensive technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will play a critical role in minimizing downtime and ensuring the safe operation of elevator systems across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough diagnostic evaluations to identify and resolve complex elevator malfunctions and issues.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs on elevator systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
  • Respond promptly to emergency service calls to troubleshoot and repair elevators in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and assist in their training and development.
  • Maintain detailed records of service activities, including maintenance logs, repair reports, and parts inventory.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in elevator technology and industry best practices.
  • Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions to ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in elevator maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in elevator maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • In-depth knowledge of elevator systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent understanding of safety regulations and protocols related to elevator maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working experience in trouble shooting of Elevators likeThyssenkrupp, OTIS, KONE, Misubishi, Schindler
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment specific to elevator maintenance.
