A Retail Attedant will maintain the securityand quality of the hotel stores so that administrative processesare managed in a timely manner and that customers are well servedin the hotel's retail environment.

What will I be doing? Asa Retail Attendant, you will maintain the security and quality ofthe hotel stores so that administrative processes are managed in atimely manner and that customers are well served in thehotel's retail environment.

Specifically, you will beresponsible for performing the following tasks to the higheststandards:

  • maintain the security of stores and followthe correct key procedures
  • Ensure that delivered itemsare correct and in high-quality condition
  • Completeadministrative duties in relation to the purchasing system
  • Forward, on a daily basis, requisitions and transfers topurchasing
  • Communicate with all Heads of Departmentsregarding stock shortages and unavailable items
  • Maintainthe cleanliness of all stores and delivery areas
  • Conductregular temperature checks on goods on a daily basis
  • Deliver stock to correct outlets
  • Ensure stock andpurchasing records are always current
  • Ensurerequisitions are placed for all stock leaving stores
  • Support monthly stock takes
  • Report any maintenanceand/or hazard issues to the Supervisor on duty
  • Adhere toall Health and Safety procedures particularly relating to food andbeverage items
  • Execute on tasks/requests as instructedby the Finance Manager and/or GeneralManager
