As Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overall shift in-charge and oversee the daily activities of QA department.

Upkeep of the Quality management system, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards of the unit. Verification of the Quality Systems, Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions in every shifts.

Accountabilities:

  • Work through the existing process to maintain a detailed verification plan which includes a check on all existing process to monitor quality process and identify deviation. Also implement corrective action plan to ensure a proper and effective closure of the deviation.
  • Monitor deviations by employees in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and develop training plan to close nonconformances.
  • Identify relevant quality related training and awareness building requirements and develop a plan to bridge skills or information gaps.
  • Conduct quality and hygiene audit of the unit and identify deviations in process and standards.
  • Forward corrective action plans on all nonconformance observed.
  • Conduct external supplier audit as per yearly schedule to ensure suppliers are following proper food safety standard.
  • Organising and conducting tool box training for employees.
  • Responsible for safe keeping and storage of relevant HACCP documentation.
  • Evaluation of Quality management system through sensory and organoleptic test.
  • Make weekly / monthly reports on departmental statistics like total verification, Non
- conformances, Foreign Object (FOB) and Quality complaints, number of training conducted.

Qualifications:

  • Vocational Qualification / Diploma or Equivalent or Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably within multinational company or International Flight catering company.
  • Ability to understand current process and identify areas of improvement
  • Skilled in drafting audit report and recommending corrective action
  • HACCP Level 3 and 4 Training on Food Safety
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with different departments
  • Good spoken & written English
