Full-time Female Ballet Teacher _
with expertise in Jazz, Contemporary, and Tap_

Responsibilities:

  • Teach ballet classes to students of various ages and skill levels. With the ability to prepare students for RAD exams is an advantage, but not a requirement.
  • Develop and execute engaging lesson plans that foster technical proficiency, artistic expression, and a love for dance.
  • Choreograph, coorganise and be part of the school shows/ Ballet showcase
  • Implement a handson/handsoff, artistic approach to teaching ensuring that participants are fully engaged and working toward specific goals
  • Keep uptodate in teaching area/discipline including licenses, training or certificates as applicable

Other Responsibilities

  • Assist with Recreation activities and Group Fitness Programs on Special events (such as Spring/Summer Camps and National Sports Day).
  • Accomplish weekly & monthly reports and attend mandatory meetings.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Royal Academy of Dance qualifications and certification are an advantage but
    not required

Proven experience teaching ballet, jazz, contemporary, and tap to students of all ages

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, parents, and colleagues.

Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • B.A. (Hons) Ballet Education (or similar undergraduate degree)

Professional Certifications

  • Certified Ballet Teacher
  • Registered Ballet Teacher

Experience

  • With Professional level experience within three (3) years of teaching experience
  • Pre-Primary in Dance up to Intermediate/Advanced Foundation
  • Judging experience is an advantage

Other Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate with diverse groups of staff and students
  • Demonstrated involvement as a practising artist in the specific disciplines or specializations of the respective style of dance

Requirements:

  • Holding a valid International Driving license or GCC driving license or being able to convert the current driving license to a Qatar driving license is an advantage.
  • Ages 21 to 3
  • Foreign Language: Must be able to adequately communicate in English.

How to Apply:

Pay:
QAR6, QAR8,000.00 per month
