About the role

You will lead the project management ofstrategic projects from the beginning to the end of their lifecycle by monitoring and tracking tasks and activities prioritizingactions and project plans ensuring those are kept up to date at alltimes. As part of complex projects to work closely with allstakeholders to oversee the projects and to ensure progress andsuccessful implementation. Acts as the focal point for the VP FleetPlanning and Strategy as well as VP Partnerships office andprovides administrative support at an excellent standard.

Other key responsibilities are:

Operational

  • Lead project managementteam and closely work with internal and external stakeholders onrelevant
projects:
  • Develop and strengthen strategic partnershipswith key partner airlines by establishing a closecoordination
tracking projects and follow upto ensure that partnerships create value to Qatar Airways.
  • Communicate and coordinate tasks betweeninternal and external stakeholders vendors suppliers and otherthird parties based on priorities defined by the projectowners.
  • Work closely withthe respective stakeholders to support in the oversight of allprojects from kick off to
delivery
  • Provide assistance in budget preparation andmonitoring of expenditures so that all projects are managed withinthe assignedbudget.
  • Provide technicaland logistical support to VP FP8S VP Airline Partnerships projectmanagers or other relevant parties involved in theprojects.
  • Lead themonitoring of progress of the projects and provide periodic updatesto VP FP&S VP Airline
Partnershipsand Project Managers on the agreed timelines.
  • Ensures proper and detailed project managementdocumentation is in place including projects plans. design projectsbriefs performance and development criteria change requestsresources updates and specifications changes and project relateddependencies.
  • Ensureproper presentation of business cases project briefs and relatedinformation to relevant stakeholders by ensuring that objectivesare properly documented and followed in order to maintain projecttimelines andrequirements.
  • Coordinateto manage aircraft wetlease project from and to Qatar Airwaysincluding steering of all internal coordination and projectmanagement as well as being the focal point to the third partyairline involved.
  • Managesstrategic partnership and investment projects and acts as focalpoint of such projects on behalf of the VP FP&S and VPAirlinePartnerships.
  • Providesbusiness documentation support including report writingpresentation creation and spreadsheetpreparation.
  • Identifyadditional cooperation areas jointly by closely working withinternal and external partners to maximize benefit to bothparties.

AboutYou

  • Minimum qualification of bachelorsdegree or equivalent isessential.
  • 6 years ofjobrelatedexperience
  • Experience inProject Management
  • SolidOrganizational skills and attention todetail
  • Excellent writtenand verbalskills
  • Managerialskills
  • Airline andaviation project management ispreferred
