About this role

  • Responsible for the development of the Brownfield construction execution philosophies, methodologies, strategies and plans for EPC scopes to be tendered for Compression Project;
  • Deliver BF construction project requirements and deliverables to the tendering EPCs consistent with the requirements of COMPANY Project Management System (COMPANYPMS) including compliance with the BF Toolkit, Company assurance reviews (IPRs, IDRRs, CERs), constructability reviews and various risk assessments;
  • Provide BF construction technical and execution expertise to support the development of the project execution schedules, scope of work, constructability and installability methods and strategies;
  • Develop offshore logistics methods, strategies and plans for the BF execution plans including offshore accommodation and POB management, and marine operations (e.g., Jack-Up Barges, DP Accommodation Vessels, Supply Vessels) strategies;
  • Develop preliminary resource estimates required for safe offshore execution of the BF scope to support project cost and schedule development;
  • Actively engage with COMPANY Operations, Marine and Logistics organizations to solicit input, provide feedback and seek alignment with BF construction execution plans;
  • Compression Project focal point and knowledgeexpert on COMPANY operations and marine practices and procedures related to BF construction (e.g., Work Management System (WMS), PermittoWork (PTW), SIMOPS, Marine Operations Manual, Shutdown Management System (SDMS);
  • Support executing EPC teams with sourcing and deployment management of BF construction resources as needed;

Shutdown Management

  • Collate, analyses and develop fully integrated and aligned shutdown plans encompassing all Compression projects (executing and future) to integrate with COMPANY's Upstream Gas Plan (UGP);
  • Active engagement with other and Major Projects Teams and COMPANY Operations and Asset Teams to solicit input, provide feedback and seek alignment with Compression Project shutdown plans.

What you need to bring

  • Recommended 15+ years of experience with at least 10 years demonstrated project management experience including construction, installation, and engineering in major capital projects especially in BF scopes;
  • Experience managing multiple EPC contractors, subcontractors and vendors involved in project execution;
  • Worldwide experience with contractors in particular those involved in the Offshore projects;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT;
  • Application and indepth knowledge of stakeholder specifications and a working knowledge of Industry standards;
  • Preferred Engineering Degree or relevant on the job experience;
  • Extensive project management experience in a senior leadership and supervisory role;
  • Required to have offshore survival certificate and be able to pass an offshore medical evaluation;
  • OPITO certification is considered a plus.
