Job Description:

  • The Bartenderis an essential member of the Food & Beverage teamdedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to ourguests.
The Bartender position provide support to BeverageManager.
A bright & passionate bartender who always strivesto provide Four Seasons experience to our guests.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • This position requires an applicant with general food knowledge.
Candidates must have good personal presentation and interpersonalskills.

  • Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits,and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring,mixing, and blending according to established recipes andestablished Four Seasons Standards.
  • Confirm guest ordersincluding any special needs or requests from the lounge server;check completed orders with the guest s original order.
  • Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offeringinteresting, and vivid descriptions of each item s, origin, taste,and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors,wines, beers, ports, Armagnac's, eau de vies, cognacs andspecialty drinks.
  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertainsatisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently andappropriately to guest concerns and requests.
  • Ensurestock rotation in the bar is managed on a FIFO basis. Ensure allbar counters/fridges and equipment are maintained and kept cleanthroughout service.
  • Properly and accurately close guestchecks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settlevoided checks or complimentary items.
  • Comply with FourSeasons Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards ofConduct as set forth in Employee handbook.
  • Workharmoniously and professionally with co-workers andsupervisors.
  • Maintain bars, wine cellar and dispensestores upkeep.
  • Be part of the monthly stocktake.
  • Ensure that beverage movement is controlled andconsumption is charged.
  • Serve food items in the bararea.
  • Cut fruit and prepare beveragegarnishments.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Theideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and a can-doapproach to any task
  • WSET certified will be anadvantage.
  • Requires reading, writing and oral proficiencyin the English language.
