  • *About this role** - Provide support to managers whererequired; - Provide regular progress reports and elevate issues tothe Authority.; - Manages the day-to-day operational &contract aspects of projects; - Responsible for providing feedbackregarding project progress, deviations, changes, and ensuring thatthe projects are delivered to Company Standards; - Responsible fortaking possession of the site (site possession), arrangingpre-start kick off meeting, and ROs. Provides any necessaryapprovals officially to the Consultant; - Review and approveproject control system which measures the progress/performance,provides early warning of deviations from plan and identifiescorrective actions to be taken; - Monitors in liaison with thetraffic unit traffic diversions to ensure they are effective andsafe; - Ensures that quality control and safety plan compliance isimplemented and maintained to QCS & Company Specificationsin coordination with the Quality Department; - Reviews deliverablesacross projects to minimize exposure and risk; - Manages scope andachieves goals set for the projects and confronts any issuesquickly; - Ensures the timely hand-over (delivery) of the project;- Certification of progress claim submitted by the consultants andcontractors; - Prepare and submit reports to senior management onwork progress status; - Inspects the construction sites regularlyto ensure conformance to design specifications and adherence toquality; - Interprets, explains and enforces regulations andpolicies, and then communicates with the construction teamregarding any possible changes to plans and problem resolution; -Ensures that consultants and contractors produce regular reports ondamages, accidents, delays, bad weather and other emergencies; -Ensures contractors observe applicable safety rules andregulations. Identifies non compliances and suggests correctiveactions with consultants and contractors; - Monitor and resolvematters such as work procedures, complaints andconstructionproblems; - Actively encourages effective communicationand coordination on assigned projectsbetween all disciplines andall other project participants; - Responsible for planning,scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical andmanagementaspects of projects; - Actively leads the team, requests projectprogress updates, and arranges and chairs technical andcoordination meetings.; - Manage and review the performance ofvarious consultants and contractors in terms of engineering; -Review and recommend various designs throughout the lifetime of aproject.; - Experience in technical reviews; - Experienced andtechnically excellent in design coordination; - Experience intechnical design software.
  • *What you need to bring** -University degree from a recognised university in an appropriatefield such as Engineering or Architecture orequivalent;
