PrincipalAccountabilities

  • Assistsin managing thedepartment's Hazardous Material(HAZMAT)/EnvironmentalSafety & Health programs inaccordance with (IAW) AmentumStandard Operating Procedures (SOP)and Work Instructions (WI),established guidance and HAZMATdirectives.
  • PerformsEquipment Custodian duties for allassigned MRAP if necessary.
  • Reviews Standard Base SupplySystem (SBSS)/Amentumsupply documents to verify status of parts.
  • Submits theLocal Purchase (LP) supply documents toprocure items such astest/shop equipment, and consumable items.
  • Reviews andinventories Organizational Equipment Lists(OEL), calibration listsand Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRL).
  • Monitorsmonthly SBSS produced D04, C49's, D-18and M14 listing forstatus of equipment and parts.
  • Monitor the DelayedMaintenance (PCN15) Report and perform monthlyreconciliation withSuperintendent/Supervisor as required.
  • Prepares andsubmits quality/material deficiency reportsand Technical Order(TO) changes as required.
  • Inspectshazardous materialswithin the assigned work center and coordinateswith theappropriate office for the disposal of HAZMAT whenrequired.
  • Stocks, maintains and requisitions parts, toolsandsupplies to perform required work on assets.
  • Responsiblefor MRAP Shop Stock and Bin location programs.
  • Responsible for the inspection, inventory andaccountability ofOther Vehicle Equipment (OVE) and replacementglass programs.
  • Assists in supporting special tools, shopstock, TestMeasurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), safetyandenvironmental shop functions.
  • Initiatecannibalization(AF Form 1832) request in necessary.
  • Operates materialhandling equipment as required.
  • Assistsin thepreparation of vehicles/equipment for air/land/sea movementasrequired.
  • Provides assistance and train other workersinIMDS as required for IMDS transactions.
  • Performotherduties as assigned.
  • Works in normal officeandmaintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be requiredtowork outdoors for extended periods. Minimum Requirements
  • Must be proficient in the use of personal computers andWindowsOperating System and Microsoft Office to include as aminimum PowerPoint, Excel and Word programs.
  • Mustpossess a validhome country driver's license and ability toobtain hostnation driver's license.
  • High Schooldiploma orequivalent required.
  • Minimum threeyears'experience with the US Air Force or civilianorganization in thefield of aircraft support equipment maintenancerequired.
  • Experience with Maintenance Operations ControlCenter(MOCC) or aircraft parts ordering using IMDS will beconsidered.
  • Must have previous Support Section experiencein amaintenance environment.
  • May be exposed to extremenoisefrom operating equipment.
  • Will be required towearproper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according toprescribedprocedures and as required for task being performed.
  • Physically capable of performing all required duties;capable oflifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 50 lbs. and performingextensivework handling/lifting equipment.
  • Must be ableto traveldomestically and internationally.
  • Must be aU.S.Citizen
