SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION
The Production Engineer is an attention to detail focused individual who is responsible for

developing, implementing, monitoring and improving all production processes and systems.

They will strive to eliminate waste and seek ways to consistently improve current work

practice. They will work directly for the Production Controller who will assign them both short

and long term tasks.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement, monitor, and improve all production processes and
systems.

  • Ensure accurate and efficient data collection systems are in place for all
processes.

  • Ensure day in day out delivery of all production and plant targets.
  • Use generated data to make informed decisions, target areas for
improvement and eliminate waste.

  • Set up and drive a plant wide 5S system.
  • Drive LEAN and CI projects and culture throughout the plant.
  • Deputise for the Production Supervisors in times of absence.
  • Create ISO procedures and Work Instructions for all processes and conduct
in-house training and competency checks for all relevant plant staff.

  • Work with Quality and HSE departments to maintain accurate training records
for all plant staff.

  • Ensure all staff adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist Production Supervisors in their daily activities by identifying and fixing
inefficient processes and systems.

  • Work with maintenance department to create effective PM tasks and
schedules that keep downtime to a minimum.

  • Keep up to date with latest trends in technology to ensure our plant is at the
cutting edge in terms of capability.

  • Lead by example and create a strong teamwork culture in the plant based on
positive attitude and strong work ethic.

  • Show commercial awareness in all of your duties and deliverables.
  • Ensure processes and resources are capable to deliver the plant KPI's.
  • Display flexibility in your approach to find the optimal solution for the good of
the company.

  • Think outside the box to provide management with solutions not questions.
  • Use structured problem solving techniques to establish root cause and
develop solutions.

  • Promote a Quality and Health & Safety driven culture throughout the plant
through the development and implementation of robust processes and

systems in line with ISO 9001 & ISO 45001.

Salary:
QAR5, QAR6,000.00 per month
