About the Role

To complete mobile refuelling of QAS ground support equipment and vehicles using GSE refuelling bowser, to an agreed schedule. Responsible for maintaining the fuel delivery reconciliation. Keeping records of all fuel taken into and delivered from the bowsers during the shift. Completing the Daily inspection checks of the bowsers in conjunction with refuelling. Supporting the Fuel stations if required. Supporting the QAS Workshops in defect reporting and the repair of minor defects

Operational:

• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance to all types of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and fleet vehicles whilst ensuring the highest quality standards.
• Identifies faults/defects of systems or subsystems like hydraulics, pneumatics, brakes, airconditioning, etc. and performs repairs including overhauling of major components such as engine, transmission, hydraulic pump\motor, compressor, etc. if required.
• Utilizes reference materials such as drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics, and technical publications during the maintenance process.
• Uses automated maintenance data systems to document repairs and monitor maintenance trends.
• Ensures that all work performed oractivities that occurred during the work shift are accurately documented and forwarded to workshop office at the end of the shift or otherwise as instructed by management.
• Practices good housekeeping, tool control and workshop safety at all times.
• Completes all other tasks assigned by the supervisor in a timely manner without sacrificing quality and safety.
• Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications:

About You- High School Qualification with Minimum 1 year of job-related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with No prior job-related work experience- Essential: Hold Heavy / Medium Truck Driving License and AVOP.- Preferably can speak and understand English Language.- Workshop, Ramp and Fire Safety Awareness.- Basic qualifications or demonstrable experience in vehicle maintenance.- Familiar with all types of ground support equipment.- Capable of capturing data accurately using digital mobile devices or manually of log sheets.- Capable to operate and drive Fuel Bowser.- Basic Mathematical skills to ensure Fuel data calculations.
