The Infrastructure team is currently growing with a demand for a new aspiring and ambitious employee. This new employee will assist our current engineering team and reduce the high workload of current team members whilst helping to continue the strategic growth of the department.

The Consulting Job Family is to identify, conduct and develop projects, knowledge, and opportunities on an understanding of department, industry and business requirements. The Consulting Job Family includes a broad range of business, technical, engineering and scientific skills alongside many different kinds of industries and functional areas of expertise.

Specific Characteristics of Consulting Job Level L05:

  • Is involved in the delivery, engineering/technical/functional design and/or coordination of client solutions and projects.
  • Provides specific contributions to consulting sales and business development initiatives.
  • Typically reports to Associate (D2)/Principal (D1).

Supporting the Civil and Infrastructure teams in the role of a Civil Engineer- Infrastructure Utilities with a strong Engineering background.

  • Will be responsible for leading the production of technical design information including reports, drawings and specifications for the infrastructure associated projects.
  • Liase with both private and public clients, local authorities and external stakeholders.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to work on their own initiative with minimum supervision.
  • Expected to carry out technical reviews and the checking of design information and reports prepared by other engineers in the team.
  • Assist with the production of proposals for new commissions, and undertaking project management and financial control of small to medium sized projects.
  • Promote the Ramboll brand and undertake business development.
  • Apply and promote policies relating to health and safety, quality, and the development of others
  • Undertaking Project Management and financial control of small to medium sized projects.
  • Carry out technical reviews and checking of design information and reports prepared by others.
  • Develop and grow within Ramboll's Technical Support Groups driving innovation, new technologies and techniques.
  • Qualification – Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience – 10-15 years min
  • Expertise in the design of all major wet utilities including potable water, irrigation, sewer, storm, fire networks etc.
  • Proficient with the required design softwares. Knowledge of civil3D modelling requirements is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines showing commitment to leading and coordinating with the various members of the team to complete the tasks on time.
  • Be able to manage the team and deliverables independently
  • Be able to lead coordination between different disciplines for smooth delivery of projects
