POSITIONSUMMARY

As the Multi Media ContentCreator you will be responsible for creating reviewing and editingcontent for the hotel which will be published in the hotelswebsites and social media pages. You will play a crucial role incrafting compelling and visually stunning content that showcasesthe uniqueness and elegance of our hotel its facilities andexceptional guest experiences. Your ability to create captivatingstories through various multimedia formats will help driveengagement boost brand awareness and elevate our hotels onlinepresence across various digitalplatforms.

Reportaccidents injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager. Followall company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personalappearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality ofproprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome andacknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipateand address guests service needs; thank guests with genuineappreciation. Speak with others using clear and professionallanguage; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Developand maintain positive working relationships with others; listen andrespond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Complywith quality assurance expectations and standards. Read andvisually verify information in a variety of formats; move liftcarry push pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10pounds without assistance; stand sit or walk for an extendedperiod. Perform other reasonable job duties asrequested.

CRITICAL TASKS
  • Ideation and Strategy: Content creators areresponsible for generating ideas and developing content strategiesthat align with the hotels goals and objectives. To researchunderstand and analyse the target audience to understand the needspreferences and behaviours.
  • Content Strategy:Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategiesaligned with the hotels goals. Conduct research to understand thetarget audience market trends and competitoranalysis.
  • Content Creation: Create original andcompelling content across multiple platforms such as social mediaand more. Ensure the content is relevant informative and engagingto the target audience.
  • Visual ContentCreation: Create and edit visual content including images andvideos/reels. Familiarity with graphic design tools and videoediting software may berequired.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams; including designers marketers and subjectmatter experts to gather information and ensure the content alignswith brand guidelines and objectives.
  • StayUpdated: Keep up with industry trends best practices and emergingtechnologies to continuously improve content creation strategiesand stay ahead of thecompetition.

SocialMedia

  • Manage daytoday activities ofselect social media channels.
  • Research andimage sourcing of Social Media creativecontent.
  • Provide daytoday support on selectsocial media channels.
  • Help distribute contentacross social platforms.
  • Optimize tags acrossmultiple distribution outlets.
  • Monitorcommunity feedback in realtime and assist with fanengagement.
  • Manage active and engagedcommunities around a defined topic or topics by managing longleadeditorial calendars monitoring onlineconversations.
  • Participate in onlineconversations to build brand visibility customer satisfaction andmarketing/ecommerce support.
  • Assist withcontent seeding efforts.
  • Establish a positiveonline presence for the hotel(s) by integrating propertyspecificand brand messaging in a compelling and valuable way forparticipants.
  • Provide daytoday analysis of datafrom listening and CMS tools.
  • Create and managereporting profile moderation outreach activitiesetc.
  • Develop relationships with clients andworking closely with them to learn their business and communicationneeds.
  • Interact with corporate ecommercestrategic alliances and other corporate departments to verifyleadership of the hotels in any emarketingopportunities.
  • Research social mediaopportunities for all market segments: business transient leisuregroup catering and food and beverage.
  • Assistwith development and pullthrough of social media brand strategy andoverarching reports.
  • Keep apprised of allrelevant client industry and marketdevelopments.
  • Uncover solicitationopportunities for managers in eachmarket.
  • Serve as a resource for the sales andoperations team regarding Internet distribution issues questions ornew programs.
  • Observe receive and otherwiseobtain information from all relevantsources.
  • Establish longrange objectives andspecify the strategies and actions to achievethem.
  • Analyze information and evaluate resultsto choose the best solution and solveproblems.
  • Develop design or create newapplications ideas relationships systems or products includingartistic contributions.
  • Verify marketingcommunications support regional market and hotel businessobjectives and goals.
  • Support execution andfulfillment of projects as outlined on marketing communicationsplans.

  • Activelylisten and respond positively to guest questions concerns andrequests using brand or property specific process (e.g. LEARNPLEASED Guest Response LEAP) to resolve issues delight and buildtrust.
  • Welcome and acknowledge each and everyguest with a smile eye contact and a friendly verbal greeting usingthe guests name when possible.
  • Answer guestquestions about property facilities/services (e.g. hours ofoperation rates and room types packages promotions entertainmentrestaurants specialevents).

Communication

  • Provideinformation to supervisors coworkers and subordinates by telephonein written form email or in person.
  • Informand/or update the executives the peers and the subordinates onrelevant information in a timely manner.
  • Speakto guests and coworkers using clear appropriate and professionallanguage.
  • Answer telephones using appropriateetiquette including answering the phone within 3 rings answeringwith a smile in ones voice using the callers name transferringcalls to appropriate person/department requesting permission beforeplacing the caller on hold taking and relaying messages andallowing the caller to end thecall.
