JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for cleanliness and service on assigned guest room floors during shift.

1.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for assigned floors and guest rooms and public areas during shift.
  • Ensure highest standard of cleaning in assigned areas.
  • Ensure guest privacy is respected when DND status is displayed.
  • Supervise turndown service.
  • Responsible for his/her keys during their shift.
  • Ensure compliance of Lost & Found procedures.
  • Monitor productivity of the unit.
  • Prevent and resolve grievances.
  • Resolve disputes.
  • Discipline staff when necessary.
  • Check Housekeeping associate's grooming, personal hygiene and
appearance.

  • Assist with the preparation of associate's duty roster.
  • Facilitate multiskill.
  • Supervise associate's performance.
  • Deliver high quality service to guest and ensure guest needs and reasonable request are meet the standard.
  • Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge in order t
- explain and sale services and facilities to guests.

  • Adhere to the hotel's security and emergency policies and procedures.
  • Log security incident and accident.
  • Ensure all reporting and servicing deadlines are meeting on a timel basis.
  • Carry out other tasks as directed by your Manager.

Task List:

To make the Supervisor able to do their job assignment accordingly to the standard.

Ø Understand prolific system.

Ø Make report.

Ø Make room attendant and public area attendant schedule.

Ø Make daily work sheet.

Ø Work closely with the reception to ensure correct room status.

Ø Make time cleaning schedule.

Ø Report and follow up any maintenance requirement with engineering department and ensure that are remedied promptly.

Ø Ensure and maintain flowers & plants in good condition reported to Executive Housekeeper if any problems with the supplier to changed in on time

Ø Implement ABC Housekeeping for the room and public area.

Ø Check the room and public area up hotel standard.

Ø Use cleaning equipment & machinery properly and to be storage in good condition

Ø Check standard set-up guest room.

Ø Update information about in term of function rooms, Group & VIP Guest.

Ø Maintain stock of cleaning & guest supplies.

Ø Inventory and implement store regulation to other department.

Ø Inventory for equipment and machinery.

Ø Check DND rooms.

Ø Make room discrepancy.

Ø Hand over to next shift.

Ø Understand standard set-up turn down service.

Ø Check turn down service.

Ø Make monthly report.

Ø Understanding to follow the key procedure.

Ø Understand L&F SOP.

Ø Handling L&F claimed.

Ø Understand about storing L&F.

Ø Maintenance productivity.

Ø Assign area to be cover.

Ø Set the goals.

Ø Conduct communication meeting.

Ø Maintain log book sign in & out and handed over to shift leader.

Ø Decide level of disciplinary.

Ø Understanding of standard grooming.

Ø Remain in daily briefing.

Ø Able to read Forecast Occupancy.

Ø Plan training to associates.

Ø Conduct training schedule.

Ø Provide on going advice and support to associates.

Ø Coach and counseling to associates.

Ø To be able to appraisal for associates.

Ø Seek opportunities to continually improve guest service by reporting guest comment.

Ø Able to take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints.

Ø Able to control the quality of the room linen, uniform and guest laundry.

Ø Update knowledge and Brand Standard requirement.

Ø Implement hotel & security training.

Ø Make incident report.

Ø Make report daily, weekly & monthly or as required.

Ø Understanding the hotel SOP.

Job Knowledge / Skill:

Good knowledge of Housekeeping Guest floors daily operation.

Education:

Graduate from college or can be replaced by adequate experience.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years to be room attendant and 1 year supervisor in Housekeeping Department.

Additional Skill required:

Good supervisor to people and communication ability.

Can speak English and able to use computer
