INDUSTRIAL CITY OPERATIONS (RLIC)

Primary purpose of job
Supervises the Inspection Services group to ensure that the large scale facilities of Common Seawater Facility,

Desalination, Waste Water Treatment Plants and other assigned facilities/equipment at RLIC are kept in accordance to the

best inspection practices such that they can be operated with utmost safety for both personnel and process.

The incumbent also ensures that the following criteria are met from an inspection perspective: quality of design,

procurement, construction, and maintenance - consistent with QatarEnergys's aims and requirements, together with

compliance to international standards.

Experience & Skills:

  • Strong working knowledge with 1012 years' varied plant
inspection, maintenance, corrosion prevention and control experience (preferably within the oil or gas processing industry,

including at least 5 years' supervisory experience.

  • Excellent written and spoken English, strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and priority setting skills.
  • Excellent administrative, communication and decisionmaking skills in normal and emergency business situations.
  • Strong computer competency and related skills.

Education
B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent from an internationally recognised educational

institution, supplemented by various related courses.
