GENERAL DESCRIPTION SoundEngineer is responsible of recording, sound design, mixing andediting, enhancing sound quality for broadcast, working withvoice-over artists, translators and managing live audio consoles.

The Sound Engineer should be skilled in audio post-production forentertainment TV broadcast environments and be able to set up andmaintain audio equipment, enhance audio with appropriate soundeffects, fix soundrelated issues, and collaborate with producersand program presenters/guests.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Livesound mixing, sound design, sound recording, sound cleanup, andsurgical audio repair.
  • Expertise with Avid Pro Tools andCalrec Audio Consoles.
  • Expertise with wired and wirelessmicrophones.
  • Perform duties assigned by directors,producers, etc.
  • Set up, maintain and regularly inspectsound equipment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinaryteam of video editors, lighting experts, cameramen, etc.
  • Set up and test sound equipment before occasions live events, andbroadcasts.
  • Improve sound quality and add sound effectsto all recordings.
  • Work smoothly with sound engineeringtechnicians.
  • Play tracks with some special effectsamidst live occasions.
  • Create and manage sound and audiolibraries.
  • Resolve technical issues when they emerge.
  • Follow details, guidelines, and instructions fromexecutives, producers, and so forth.
  • Test and improvesound quality.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trendsand best practices.
  • Perform additional duties that falloutside your job title or key duties
