We are actively seeking Qualified NurseryManager to join this Amazing Nursery based inDoha

Glimpse of theNursery:

The Nursery strive to provide thechildren with continuous opportunities for growth.

Activities are planned around the seven learningareas of the Early Years Foundation stage which is a play based UKcurriculum.

The classrooms setup ensures that thelearning taking place is both stimulating and enhanced to theliking of the childrens various age groups.

TheNursery use the development matters EYFS guide which is a documentissued by the department of education in the UK.

This document helps teachers monitor childrenslearning and development.

The EYFS guide alsohelps the Nursery understand if a child is ahead of theirdevelopment or if there is any delay.

Theteachers carry out circle time sessions to encourage groupdiscussions as well as a variety of planned academiclearning.

They also use the Jolly Phonicsprogramme to help children pronounce letters phonetically throughsongs fun actions and stories.

Through thisprogramme children learn to form letters correctly decode and blendwords at a later stage in theirdevelopment.

Tasks

Mainresponsibilities:

  • Todeliver and ensure a high standard of learning development and carefor children aged 05 years.
  • To manage the dayto day activities of the setting. To ensure that the preschoolnursery is a safe environment for children staff andothers.
  • To developing partnerships withparents/carers to increase involvement in their childsdevelopment.
  • To manage other staff within thepreschool nursery. To be responsible for any tasks delegated by theDirector

Mainactivities:

  • Overall dayto day management responsibility for the preschool nursery
  • To be responsible for the efficient running ofthe preschool nursery and overall delivery of a high qualityservice
  • To ensure that the preschool nurseryprovides a safe caring stimulating educational environment bothindoors and outdoors at all times
  • To ensurethat the preschool nursery plans an appropriate play based EarlyYears Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that enables children tomake individual progress
  • To ensure thepreschool nursery meets Ofsted requirements at alltimes
  • To manage supervise and support thepreschool nursery staff
  • To undertake and assigndesignated officer roles.
  • To work with otherprofessionals in the local area for the benefit of children andfamilies
  • To ensure all staff understand andwork to preschool nursery policies and procedures including how todeal with child protection issues appropriately and how to respondto incidents accidents complaints andemergencies
  • Take responsibility for planningwhich ensures each child is working towards the early learninggoals
  • To organize and participate in the keyperson system
  • To conduct staff appraisals andsupervisions as appropriate and to identify staff trainingneeds
  • To ensure all records are properlymaintained in accordance with the policies and procedures of thecompany
  • To liaise closely with parents/carersinforming them about the nursery and its curriculum exchanginginformation about childrens progress and encouraging parentsinvolvement.
  • To work in partnership with seniormanagement to update and review the selfevaluation and improvementplan.
  • To undertake any other reasonable dutiesas directed in accordance with the preschool aims andobjectives
Requirements

Education& Qualifications:

MinimumLevel 3 qualification in Children and Young Peoples Workforce orequivalent.

Paediatric First Aid

Experience/Knowledge:

  • A minimum of2 years recent experience working in a Preschool /Nursery settingideally already in a senior practitioner or room leaderrole.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the EarlyYears Foundation Stage and current Ofsted statutoryguidance.
  • Knowledge and proven practicalexperience of implementing good quality learningopportunities.
