We are looking for Ruya Batch 1 RP Material Coordinator for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Doha / India / Oman

Start Date : SEP 2024

End Date : AUG 2026

Work Status : Resident, single

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in material management and/or coordination field of oil & gas industry
  • BS degree in a technical field or extensive natural gas/oil industry experience.
  • Ability to work in a team oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Capable of proposing project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
  • Good leadership skills and good communication skills.
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
  • Be skilled in using computer programs for MS Tools and e-mail communications.
  • Language: Fluent English

Job Responsibilities

  • To promote & comply with applicable safety instructions and other COMPANY HSE procedures in all activities.
  • To carry out work in compliance with COMPANY values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed COMPANY priorities and objectives, COMPANY standards and procedures and good industry practices.
  • To treat all information obtained during course of the work with confidentiality.

During construction (prefabrication/erection) and pre-commissioning phases, the job holder shall:

  • Review CTR procedures related with materials.
  • Closely monitor PSR status and communicate with CPY Procurement engineer for Construction requirements in terms of material priority.
  • To interface with CPY team for materials issues.
  • Cooperate with QAQC for Material receiving inspection.
  • To share weekly material delivery status with CPY team
  • Daily walkthrough to storage areas and warehouse to monitor conditions of materials.
  • To have daily toolbox meeting with CTR counterpart for daily tasks
  • Stop works & report immediately to RP Construction Head for any anomaly or non-conformity.
  • Attend and participate when requested, to the various construction meetings, and provide support to the RP Construction Head in its various reviews.
  • To visit sub-contractor worksites to follow fabrication status if required by N+1 and N+2.
  • If required by management, the job holder will have to work during weekends and/or night shift during critical activities.

Accountabilities

  • Safety: Complete all necessary Safety trainings (IF+, HSE Golden Rules, etc.) in a timely manner. Understand COMPANY HSE Policy and HSE KPIs and demonstrate a responsible and exemplary HSE behavior during whole project life. Abide by local, international, COMPANY (After here, CPY) safety standards, and CONTRATOR (After here, CTR)'s HSE policy as well and proactively engage (stop work) in unsafe activities and create positive/negative observation cards.
  • Monitoring Materials Delivery Status: Monitor PSR(Procurement Status Report) and communicate with CPY Procurement engineer about latest ROS(Receive On Site) information so that materials to be delivered in a timely manner. Alert and report to Construction Head if delays of material delivery are spotted.
  • Participation in Material Receiving Inspection: Coordinate with CPY QAQC team that CTR carry out proper inspection on materials and report if any damages found for CPY free issued items and CTR furnished items as well. Prepare weekly receiving inspection report and share it with CPY team.
  • Material Storage: Monitor all materials to be stored in accordance with good practice, on pallet or time blocking, off the ground. Coordinate with CPY preservation team that CTR ensure materials (except for structural bulks) to be covered properly during storages. Monitor that some materials are to be stored in climatic controlled warehouse and covered space in accordance with vendors recommendations and CPY specifications.
  • Good Communication: Set up proper communication channel with CTR counterpart and implement daily tool box talks with CTR to discuss about prioritizing activities for short term and long term basis.
  • Meeting/Reporting: Set up and run weekly materials coordination meeting with CTR counterpart. Have a day-to-day communication with Construction Head and attend meetings called by Construction Head.
