PIPING ENGINEER (UPSTREAMOPERATIONS)ROLESUMMARY As a Piping Engineer in our Upstream Operations teamyou will collaborate with a highly skilledgroup of professionals toexecute engineering coordination andproject support tasks acrossinternational Oil and Gas projects.

From tendering to projectstartup and operation you will lead teammembers effectivelyensuring accuracy and confidence in ourdeliverables.
KEYRESPONSIBILTIES Ensuretimely availability of drawings andessential projectinformation. Coordinate closely to securenecessarymaterials for project execution. Review mechanical documentsprovided by thirdpartyengineering subcontractors and vendorsidentifying and resolvingany design issues. Actively participateinmeetings with clients subcontractors and vendors toaddressmechanical disciplinerelated issues. Preparecritical projectdocuments including specifications mechanical datasheets materialrequisitions technical bid evaluations andmechanical studies.
Provide valuable input andcollaborate with other disciplines tosupport the development oftheir deliverables such as pipingdrawings and plotplans/layouts. Conduct technical bidevaluationsfor vendor proposals and perform thorough reviews ofvendor drawingsand documents. Adhere strictlyto the companys Integrated ManagementSystem (IMS) procedures toensure compliance and quality standardsaremet. QUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree or equivalent in MechanicalEngineeringwith a preference for an MSc from an internationalEnglishspeakinguniversity. Minimum of 7 years of relevantexperiencein Oil & Gas Power Plants and Industrial Projects withdetailed engineering expertise in Mechanical/Pipingengineering.
Strong technical proficiency in Mechanical engineering withexpertise in static and rotatingequipment mechanical packages pipestress analysis and HVACinstallations. Advanced analytical skillsinbasic and detailed engineering design from projectfeasibilitythrough commissioning and startup are highly valued.
Previous exposure to an international environment isadvantageous.

Proficiency in relevant CAD and Mechanical software applicable toOil & Gas and Power Plants projects such as AutoCAD CAESARII PV Elite AMETank HAP andTHERMOFLOW.

Indepth knowledge ofinternationalcodes & standards design guidelines&recommendations including ASME API NFPA andASHRAE.Familiarity with Machinery Safety Regulations both localandinternational. Mobility is desirable toengage in project homeoffices across countries where our EPCprojects are executed.
Excellent command ofthe English language both written andoral.
