  • Develop and leadcorporate legal strategy to promote and protect the companysinterests.
  • Ensure the company scompliance with all applicable laws and regulations including realestate laws zoning laws environmental regulations and employmentlaws.
  • Provide legal counsel to theboard of directors CEO and other senior management on a broad rangeof legal and regulatoryissues.
  • Oversee the drafting reviewand negotiation of all legal documents including contracts forproperty acquisitions sales leases joint ventures andpartnerships.
  • Ensure all contractsand legal documents are properly documented and comply with currentlaws and regulations.
  • Identifypotential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate theserisks.
  • Conduct risk assessments andensure appropriate risk management strategies are inplace.
  • Manage and resolve legaldisputes and litigation involving thecompany.
  • Ensure the company scorporate governance policies and practices are robust and complywith regulatory requirements.
  • Adviseon corporate governance issues and ensure the board of directorsand management are informed about new laws regulations and industrytrends affecting thebusiness.
  • Oversee all legal aspectsof real estate transactions including acquisitions dispositionsfinancing leasing and developmentprojects.
  • Ensure thorough duediligence is conducted for all real estatetransactions.
  • Lead manage and mentorthe inhouse legal team ensuring effective performance anddevelopment.
  • Coordinate withexternal legal counsel as needed managing these relationships andcontrolling legal costs.
  • Develop andimplement company policies and procedures to ensure legalcompliance and promote a culture of ethical businesspractices.
  • Provide training to thecompany s employees on legal matters policies andcompliance.


Requirements
  • JurisDoctor (JD) degree from an accredited lawschool.
  • Admission to the state barand in good standing.
  • Minimum of 10years of experience practicing law with a significant portion inreal estate law.
  • Experience in asenior legal position preferably as a General Counsel or ChiefLegal Officer in a real estate company or relatedindustry.
  • Proven track record ofmanaging complex real estate transactions and legalissues.
  • Strong knowledge of realestate law contract law corporate law and regulatorycompliance.
  • Excellent negotiationcommunication and interpersonalskills.
  • Strategic thinker withstrong problemsolvingabilities.
  • Ability to workeffectively with senior management and the board ofdirectors.
  • Demonstrated leadershipand team management skills.
  • Highethical standards andintegrity.
  • Strong attention todetail and accuracy.
  • Ability to workunder pressure and meet tightdeadlines.


Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admissionto the state bar and in good standing. Minimum of 10 years ofexperience practicing law, with a significant portion in realestate law. Experience in a senior legal position, preferably as aGeneral Counsel or Chief Legal Officer in a real estate company orrelated industry. Proven track record of managing complex realestate transactions and legal issues. Strong knowledge of realestate law, contract law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities. Ability towork effectively with senior management and the board of directors.Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. High ethicalstandards and integrity. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work under pressure and meet tightdeadlines.
