Review classroom or curricula topics and assignments

  • Assist students with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research and other academic tasks
  • Work with students to help them understand key concepts, especially those learned in the classroom
  • Teach skills to improve academic performance, including study strategies, notetaking skills and approaches to answering test questions
  • Develop and distribute teaching materials to supplement classroom lessons, including study guides
  • Conduct practice tests to track progress, identify areas of improvement and help set goals for exam preparation
  • Provide students positive and constructive feedback
  • Offer feedback on progress to students' parents and teachers where appropriate
  • Build meaningful connections with students from diverse backgrounds
  • Diagnose student needs through active listening techniques and questioning strategies
  • Recognize different learning styles and student preferences
  • Design differentiated learning goals
  • Stay up to date with the school curriculum

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education from accredited university or college
  • Master's degree in Education is preferred.
  • Must have at least 35 years of teaching experience
  • Preferably with Special Education experience
  • Experience in British curriculum for all levels (Primary, Secondary and High School Level)
  • Native Arabic speaker with excellent English communication skills
