  • To provide a link between the scaffolding operatives and clients.
  • To take charge of scaffolding operations on site.
  • Considered to be a more mature and experienced scaffolder, the Charge Hand or is capable of interpreting design drawings and erecting complex nonstandard scaffolds with limited input from Supervisors or Management.
  • They should be capable of carrying out inspections on all types of scaffold and are expected to complete and issue appropriate Handovers and Scafftags for their sites.
