Job Description:

Exciting Opportunity: Senior Project / Cost Control Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project / Cost Control Manager to be part of our dynamic team in Qatar. As the leader of the internal COST CONTROL function for the sector, you will play a key role in enhancing project delivery and implementing best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the Project / Cost Controls team in the central region
  • Supervise a diverse team of project controls managers/engineers
  • Support Sector Manager in maximizing margins and improving cashflow
  • Establish regular communication with Program Directors/Managers
  • Participate in initiatives to enhance project controls services
  • Oversee development of systems and procedures
  • Manage resources within the sector
  • Provide training on project controls best practices
  • Interface with clients and prepare reports
  • Conduct site inspections and manage contractor progress
  • Analyze project costs and performance against schedules
  • Prepare schedule data for proposals and negotiations

Required Skills:

  • Degree in Engineering or related field with minimum 15 years' experience
  • Expertise in schedule and cost report development
  • Experience in PM/CM contracts
  • Project Management Certification a plus
  • Strong teamwork and management skills
  • Ability to work in a complex construction environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Professional certification in engineering or project management
  • 15+ years of experience, including supervisory roles
  • Experience in leading project / cost controls teams
  • Proficiency in Project Controls Software and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of industry best practices
  • Ability to deliver executive-level presentations
  • Desire for continuous improvement
