  • Position: Mathematics Teacher

  • Develop and evaluate the school's math curriculum to ensure compliance with educational benchmarks.
  • Follow school protocols for assessment, recording, and reporting to track student advancement efficiently.
  • Share best practices within and outside the math department to enhance teaching standards.
  • Encourage cultural enrichment through a variety of activities within and beyond school hours.
  • Employ student tracking processes to boost learning outcomes and refine teaching practices aligned with school objectives.

Define precise teaching goals, content, structures, and lesson sequences tailored to students' academic requirements. Establish suitable yet challenging learning targets, focusing on progress within math lessons and across lesson sequences.

  • Stress conceptual comprehension of math principles and operations.
  • Foster problem-solving abilities through diverse math challenges that necessitate critical thinking.
  • Promote math fluency by advocating for regular practice of mental math and quick calculations.
  • Link math concepts to practical applications to showcase their relevance.
  • Offer tailored instruction to accommodate various learning styles and proficiencies.
  • Integrate technology tools to augment understanding of math concepts.
  • Utilize formative assessments and feedback mechanisms to track student progress and establish improvement strategies.

Actively involve in math tasks, engage in classroom discussions, and pose queries to deepen comprehension. Enhance problem-solving skills by tackling various math challenges and persisting through obstacles.

  • Utilize math reasoning to articulate solutions, validate responses, and draw connections to real-life scenarios.
  • Cultivate regular practice and display perseverance to enhance math fluency and self-assurance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on group projects, discussions, and problem-solving activities to exchange ideas and provide assistance.
