Job Description

We are looking for Mechanical/Piping Supervisor for Qatar Location- 3 months shutdown project.
Position- Mechanical /Piping Supervisor
Industry- Oil & Gas
Location- Qatar
Project Type- 3 Months Shutdown project in Qatar
Note- Gulf with Shutdown experienced is must for the same.
Interview Mode- CV shortlisting then Virtual Interview Taken.
Job Details -
Plan scope and time baseline for maintenance and Project
activities.
Schedule the daily/routine/non-routine tasks in site and
reports to management.
Coordinates with field process operator for getting
clearance from Operations.
Preparing Bill of materials, Material Take off (MTO) and
schedule for Tie-in maintenance & Project activities.
Involving in Site coordination between Sub
contractors/resident contractors/Third party agents to
complete the job at timely & safely manner.
Involving in mechanical equipment s maintenance and
shutdown activities ( Distillation column, Pressure vessel,
storage tanks)
Involving in pipe spool fabrication and coordination of
spools for testing, painting and shifting to site
Involving in erection of spools and Site production
assurance
Coordinate for NDT activities (DPT, PWHT, Ferrite Test,
RT)
Handling all Pressure testing activities
Handling activities strictly adheres with QHSE and EHS
Standards
Handling blinding/de-blinding activities for
accomplishing Tie-in activities and coordinates PSSR.
Involving in Reactor and module/Structural materials
erection at the site by means of critical lifting
Coordinate with work flow within the engineering team, executed mechanical engineering
scope, reviewed mechanical drawing content with client, vendor engineering staff of project
and coordinate with project engineer for project schedule and provide Gantt chart for
mobilization.
Securing monitoring the plant related mechanical maintenance rotating/static equipment s &
include piping system activities & progress of the work scope co-ordinate with client
engineers for proposing, finalizing pipe routing, placing of supports and respond for
mobilization, demobilization of material equipment s, erection lifting activities and
modification of scaffolding as per required.
Responsible for maintenance heat exchanger; such as shell & tube fixing, floating head & utube type per remove channel head and shell cover with the help of chain block
otherwise use crane and remove the tube bundle with the help on chain block otherwise
bundle puller and clean the tube bundle with the help of hydro jetting machine and 3000psi
to1500psi pressure use. As per required Hydro testing of shell tube heat exchanger such as
shell test, tube test & final shell test.
Responsible for maintenance distillation column; such as tray & package type, after inspection
as per permission to open column internal parts such as tray (bubble cup tray, fixed tray,
sleeve tray, floating tray, tray supporting ring), demister pad, distributor, packing (structural
packing, random packing) gas injection tray, chimney tray, steam coil, hot well, seal pan,
nozzle and any structural support etc.
Responsible for maintenance steam turbine; equipment s such as nozzles, blades, labyrinth
glands, holders, thrust bearing, pads, journal bearing, throttle valve & seal, coupling, worm &
worm wheel, governor, etc. & preparation vetting of drawing of various components like
casings, pedestal, base plate, diaphragm, nozzles, blades, rotor carriers etc. & final assembly of
single/multi stage steam turbine packages including assembly and testing of steam turbine &
maintenance works of rotating/static equipment s.
Responsible for maintenance fin fan air cooler; first drain point open and according to blind
list blinding inlet/outlet pipe line and as per required scaffolding erection, carefully remove
the plugs with ring gasket by using torque wrench, and hydro jetting and air process cleaning
tubes, as per required fill the water in tube for hydro testing purpose.
