Planning Engineer

Qatar

Parsons is seeking a skilled Planning Engineer to join their team in a role focused on developing, implementing, and managing scheduling and project controls functions across various projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Practical experience in project planning, budgeting, cost control, and utilizing computer-based systems such as Primavera Project Management 'P6' & Primavera Contract Management 'Expedition'.

  • Experience in completing projects of similar complexity and size.

  • Utilizing the latest versions of Primavera software for project monitoring and review.

  • Creating design schedules and validating progress against original plans.

  • Updating cost plans and cash flows, along with implementing Earned Value Management Systems.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering discipline with planning certification.

  • 7-10 years of experience in a similar role within engineering or project management consultancy.

  • Proficiency in various Project Controls software, Microsoft Office, and PowerBI.

  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken, and excellent communication skills.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or related fields.
