We are currently seeking to hire a Primary Class Teacher who can join our team in August 2024.

As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering outstanding lessons, monitoring and evaluating student achievement and contributing to the accomplishment of Doha College's vision and mission.

About you

You should have a passion for the primary years and the ability to apply a range of teaching strategies that motivate and encourage children to want to learn. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver lessons that inspire children to succeed and have a detailed knowledge of the English National Curriculum, as well as a commitment to the pursuit of excellence in education standards.

We are a British international school, and all of our lessons are taught in English. A high standard of written and spoken English is, therefore, essential. Applicants should be willing to contribute in a positive manner to all aspects of the school vision, including co-curricular activities.

As part of the selection process, longlisted candidates will be required to complete a pre-recorded Micro-teach, which you will then submit to us. The recorded Micro-teach should be 10 minutes in length of your continuous teaching (live in class). Further details will be provided.
