Your Tasks

  1. Leads the monitoring and oversight of the Topsides & STP contractor team field planning, coordination, and execution activities within designated area of responsibility.
  2. Appraises the performance of the Topsides & STP contractor team in safety, quality, cost (as applicable) and schedule.
  3. Prepares and provides routine verbal and written progress reports to the Head of Construction Batam and updates S-curve performance of the contractor with analysis to achieve progress.
  4. Ensures that the Offshore Topsides & STP contractor's insulation, coatings and architectural team develops, implements and sustains its Safety and Quality program at site.
  5. Reviews the Offshore Topsides & STP contractor's construction deliverables such as Method statements, construction procedures, Lifting schemes etc. as per company specifications.
  6. Provides safety leadership by example to the Offshore Project Team and the Offshore Topsides & STP contractor and its sub-contractors and site vendors.
  7. Responsible for ensuring the Offshore contractor team implements and sustains its obligations and responsibilities for HSES project deliverables.
  8. Acts as Offshore Project team construction representative for monitoring and coordinating site activities of the Offshore contractor team and its subcontractor(s) in their area of responsibility.
  9. Reports on the construction activities, progress, areas of concern and mitigating actions to Head of Construction and participates & contributes to weekly construction discipline review meetings.
  10. Responsible for implementation of execution activities and ensures development, review, and approval (as required) of appropriate plans, procedures, and programs for safe and effective execution. This includes authorization of COMPANY permits wherever necessary.
  11. Reviews and approves the Offshore contractor team's construction sequence plans, work plans, pre-task planning and method statements and participates in constructability reviews, HAZID workshops during construction to ensure comprehensive safety and feasibility in their area of responsibility.
  12. Helps in identifying and organizing all required construction support (Third Party support, Joint-Venture partner technical support, etc.) in liaison with the Offshore Topsides & STP.
  13. Reviews construction risks and assists in providing mitigation measures. Reports Risks to the Offshore Head of Construction QFAB, reviews the EPCI level 3 schedule prepared by the Contractor.
  14. Monitors site material handling, preservation, and warehousing procedures with respect to their area to facilitate construction progress.

Your Profile

  1. Engineering/Construction degree with relevant experience or Recognized Diploma in Engineering/Construction management with prior work experience.
  2. Hold a valid NACE or Equivalent level III Coating certificate.
  3. Minimum 10 years of experience in coating, insulation, and architectural works of offshore Jackets, Topsides, Pipelines, and Sub-Sea structures.
  4. Exhaustive experience in the preparation, fabrication, and construction of Architectural works of offshore buildings and coating and insulation of offshore structures including piping and Equipment with EPCI contractors.
  5. Experience of supervision of TSA coating works.
  6. Able to supervise a multi-cultural team committed to meeting project objectives.
  7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT.
  8. A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
  9. Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.
