The team is accountable for the Operational and Financial performance of the Oilfield & Industrial Chemicals Product Line across the North Gulf Cluster.

As Service Delivery Manager - Oilfield & Industrial Chemicals (OIC) – North Gulf (NGF), you will have full accountability for achieving the business key performance indicators as well as managing all activities in NGF including responsibility for P&L, Account Management Teams, and all Product Line personnel in-country.

As Service Delivery Manager - OIC - NGF, you will be responsible for:

  1. Ensuring all activities are carried out according to our non-negotiables and our values.
  2. Presenting projects plans, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior business leaders within the technical space.
  3. Collaborating with sales/commercial teams as well as direct interaction with customers in the cluster to understand the activity forecast (volume and complexity).
  4. Handling complex medium-term project processes and defining approaches.
  5. Handling important business unit clients which require complex processes involving many stakeholders.
  6. Overseeing the budget and P&L for the area of responsibility.
  7. Developing the team in line with competency and training programs for their respective positions as well as future career plans.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  1. Have a minimum of a B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry, similar Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  2. Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Oilfield & Industrial Chemicals (OIC) with at least 5 years in a Business Management role in OIC.
  3. Have sound commercial understanding of P&L, balance sheet, commercial and contractual language.
  4. Be well organized with good communication and interpersonal skills as a leader, with clients, and with Baker Hughes Executive Leadership.
  5. Have the ability to collaborate across functions, Product Lines, and geographies to further Baker Hughes growth.
  6. Have a mindset of customer intimacy and continuous engagement to ensure excellence in service delivery.
  7. Have excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  8. Be comfortable and flexible to work with several countries/time zones.
  9. Have established project management & strategic business planning skills.
