Primary Objectives / Responsibilities

Under supervision within the relevant discipline, develop into a competent engineer to assist in the delivery of engineering services to Worley and its clients.

Specific Accountabilities
  1. Provide technical support within the discipline team, liaise with the project team, and consult with relevant resources as required.
  2. Communicate effectively with the discipline team and project stakeholders.
  3. Establish and maintain good working relationships within Worley, with its clients and other stakeholders.
  4. Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance if required.
  5. Comply and keep up-to-date with the behavior and business practices outlined in Worley Vision, codes, policies, procedures and standards, and with all applicable laws, regulations and standards.
  6. Deliver quality services and demonstrate a commitment to understand and meet customer needs.
  7. Demonstrate a visible and active commitment to achieving the One way Vision and its associated requirements.
  8. Act in the best interests of WorleyParsons at all times.
  9. Perform any other duties that are reasonably required from time to time.
  10. Actively participate in the Worley Qatar GDO.
  11. Prepare own development plan and continuously update it.
  12. Prepare personal KPIs and participate in semi-annual review with supervisor.
  13. Complete PEC registration within first year on the graduate program.
Job Specific KnowledgeKnowledge / Experience / Competencies Required
  1. Competent at a graduate level in the technical and practical engineering skills in the relevant discipline.
  2. In the relevant discipline or field, the ability to learn the applicable local standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.
  3. Critical information-seeking.
  4. Sound problem-solving competencies with the ability to apply these to different scenarios.
Industry Specific Experience
  1. Not required, although evidence of undergraduate industrial work experience would be advantageous.
QualificationsEducation – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
  1. A recognized engineering degree in the relevant discipline from an accredited university, or equivalent, recognized for PEC registration within Qatar.

  1. Maintain HSE focus with the team to ensure OHSE requirements.
