The candidate should have extensive technical and problem-solving expertise on the HPE Assurance platforms mainly on the below solutions:

  • HPE vTeMIP (Telecommunication management information platform)
  • HPE UOC (Unified operations console)
  • HPE UCA (Unified correlation and analysis)
  • HPE UMB (Unified mediation Bus)
  • HPE UTM (Universal topology manager)
  • HPE Int-A (Intelligent assurance)
  • HPE USLAM (Unified service level management)
  • Microfocus SMAX (Service management automation)
  • Microfocus uCMDB (configuration management system)
  • Microfocus OO (Operation orchestration)
  • Redhat OpenShift container platform

The candidate should have extensive technical solution architect responsibilities:

  1. Designing, modifying, and testing technical architecture for NOC, IT OSS assurance solutions based on HPE platforms and Assurance Stack.
  2. Building and integrating NOC and information systems to meet the company's needs based on HPE platforms and Assurance Stack.
  3. Assessing the NOC systems architecture currently in place and working with multi domains technical team to recommend solutions to improve it.
  4. Provide supervision and guidance to technical teams for NOC, IT and OSS assurance service delivery pre and post implementation.
  5. Understand the complex technical requirement from the customer and translate it into the system to meet the customer expectation and requirement.
  6. Continually research the current and emerging NOC technologies and implement the new where needed.
  7. Understand the customer requirement and translate into the logical architecture to improve the functionality of NOC platform.
  8. Present and propose the new solution and explain the changes and new capabilities to increase the efficiency of the NOC operation.
  9. Help the NOC operations teams to automate the processes for maximum benefits of the network fault management.
  10. Assessing the NOC platform for maximum utilization of the components based on the capabilities.
  11. Prepare and present the overall status and management reports for the network health for NOC fault management solution.
  12. Provide the in-house and hands-on technical training to the NOC operations teams for different solution components.

The candidate should have extensive technical leadership capabilities and responsibilities:

  1. Provide the in-depth technical overview to the different internal teams related to the NOC platforms and NOC monitoring solution.
  2. Work closely with HPE OSS assurance solution for fault management products.
  3. Works closely with Microfocus for Service management Automation (SMAX) and operation orchestration solution for organization key processes.
  4. NOC platform administration and availability of all the key applications.
  5. Install and implement the HPE and microfocus solution based on the customer requirement for NOC automation.
  6. Participation in the upgrade activities of the HPE and microfocus solution.
  7. Integration the new multi domain EMS with vTeMIP for single instance of the truth for NOC operations.
  8. Ability to work with Nokia, Oracle, Dell, Huawei for the alarm's integration with vTeMIP solution.
  9. Should be able to understand the different integration methodologies and protocol.
  10. Ability to identify and write the complex correlation scenario to provide the root cause analysis.
  11. Should be able to build the topology based on the company logical inventory.
  12. Ability to work with UOC for all the vendor's alarm and dashboard monitoring.
  13. Ability to create the HPE FAS reports for fault on daily, weekly and monthly basis for the management.
  14. Should be able to understand the ITIL best practice and guideline for the service management process.
  15. Should be able to handle the incident management process for fault management end to end.
  16. Ability to implement the end-to-end change management process for standard, normal and emergency workflows.
  17. Ability to create complex dashboards for fault reporting.
  18. Ability to maintain the NOC compliance policies for SOC and backup.

Skills

Apply if you have:

  • Min 4 years of relevant telecom HPE experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Telecom/Computer Science or relevant major
  • Experience with HPE assurance platforms
  • Service management, Incident management, change management, request and fulfilment management, knowledge management.
  • Operating system (RHEL, Windows, OpenShift, Open stack, CentOS)
  • Docker Kubernetes and container-based platforms.
  • Scripting (Shell, Perl, Python)
  • BI tool (PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Cloud technologies (vmware, nokia, aws, oracle)
  • Backup solutions.
