Consultant Geriatrician

We have a requirement for a Consultant Geriatrician, to be based working in the Community and joining one of the leading healthcare organisations in the Middle East - Hamad Medical Corporation.

The Consultant Geriatrician will be based fully in the community where they will visit and treat patients in their own home. For this role, the candidate can hold CCT/Board Certification in Geriatric Medicine and/or Internal Medicine. Arabic and English fluency is essential for this role.

To be eligible to apply for this role:

• You must have a Western Board/CCT and have a minimum of 1 year's post specialist board (CCT or equivalent) experience. If you possess CESR you are eligible to apply if you hold more than 3 years' Consultant experience, post certification. Please note that we do not have any Senior Consultant positions available at this time (6 years or more experience as a Consultant post CCT/Board).

Please note for licensing purposes, 1 year's experience must be from a government, semi-government or a teaching hospital.

• You must be a registered Consultant.
• You must be able to provide a Certificate of Good Standing.
• Arabic speaker required.
