Senior Completion Engineer

Our client, one of the world's largest Oil and Gas Operating Companies, is looking to appoint a Senior Completion Engineer to work with their team in Qatar. The successful candidate will prepare completion programmes and oversee the execution of the programme at the rig site.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform all completion engineering duties relating to assigned onshore rigs.
  2. Prepare detailed completion programmes based on requirements in the well prognosis.
  3. Organise and arrange all completion services and ensure all contractors are aware of the completion schedule.
  4. Monitor operations on the assigned rig.
  5. Assist in the supervision of operations at the rig site during the running of completion equipment.
  6. Prepare the final well completion operations reports.
  7. Provide technical and operational advice on downhole completion and wellhead well design.
  8. Assist in the preparation of tender documents for contracts relating to completion services or equipment.
  9. Mentor and train junior engineers.
  10. Ensure data files are updated and maintained.
Key Skills / Attributes:
  1. Degree qualified.
  2. 10 years completion engineering / drilling engineering / well site operations experience.
  3. Excellent communication skills.
