Wood is actively seeking Expressions of Interest for a Project Administrator role to support future growth in our expanding business.

The projects team focuses on delivering across FEED, Pre-FEED, Brownfield, and Greenfield scopes of work. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of project work in accordance with the project execution plan, including Wood and/or Project Procedures on Safety and Quality Control within the man-hour, cost, and project schedule targets.

This is a long-term assignment based in Qatar.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Manipulation of spreadsheets
  • Experience with time writing / time sheets
  • Team Player
  • Good TEAMS knowledge
  • Consistent and accurate delivery
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of the Arabic language is desirable but not essential

Applicants are required to:

  • Have demonstrable experience of working independently / remotely from technical leadership personnel (although functional leadership will be within the Doha office).
  • Have demonstrable experience of working within a small project office, supporting cross-discipline activities beyond their core discipline.

The Project Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Providing general admin support to the management team
  • Screening and fielding telephone calls
  • Liaising with clients regarding queries
  • Organizing and replenishing stationery and office supplies
  • Arranging worldwide travel, flights, accommodations, and transfers sometimes with complicated itineraries
  • New starters admin, induction, and organization of equipment as well as admin related to leavers
  • Assisting with expenses collation and approval
  • Meeting room bookings and hospitality
  • Stationery ordering
  • Reviewing and updating department data including minute taking
  • Organizing courier services as required
  • Assisting with proposals coordination and submission
