Job Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise the site construction/installation works of relevant engineering disciplines for assigned Construction/EPIC contracts and ensure that the work is carried out in a safe manner and in compliance with Scope of Work, approved Engineering documents and Specifications.
  2. Participate in constructability reviews as and when required.
  3. Participate in construction risk management reviews as and when required and manage the assigned risks in consultation with the Project Engineer.
  4. Review contractors' construction plans and schedules including method statements and JSAs.
  5. Coordinate and control the mobilization of contractors to sites including lay down areas.
  6. Facilitate issuance of necessary permits and Gate passes when requested by Contractors.
  7. Verify and endorse PTW as operating authority prior to commencing daily site activities.
  8. Check, inspect and test completed project work and/or arrange appropriate commissioning inspections and tests. Prepare Punch Lists and initiate Mechanical Completion Certificates.
  9. Ensure and follow up completion and clearance of all Punch List items.
  10. Review and endorse "red marked" up and "as built" drawings.
  11. Participate in hand-over and acceptance, review commissioning procedures and participate in the commissioning of facilities.
  12. Review and endorse Construction Dossier for the assigned projects.
  13. Support Qatari development activities by ensuring that Qatari Nationals receive the proper job training and development.
Minimum Qualifications:
  1. B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline from a recognized University or Diploma in relevant engineering Discipline with extensive construction-related experience.
  2. Good skills in construction management, effective communication, and conflict resolution.
  3. A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in relevant construction and installation activities in projects of the oil & gas industry.
  4. Experienced in the implementation of construction industry best practices, systems, processes, and standards.
Salary and Work Schedule:

Day Rate in QAR Plus Allowance

Work Schedule: 9 Hours / 6 Days

Duration:

30/06/29 with possible extension

Qatar
