  • Provide visionary leadership to ensure the company maintains a competitive edge in the defense industry.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, defense contractors, and private-sector clients.
  • Operations Management:
  • Oversee the factory's day-to-day operations, ensuring production efficiency, quality control, and timely delivery of products.
  • Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all local and international regulations related to arms manufacturing and defense standards.
  • Business Development:
  • Identify new market opportunities both locally and internationally to expand the company's reach.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to increase the company's presence in the global arms industry.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful negotiation and execution of large-scale defense contracts.
  • Manage the company's financial performance, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Ensure proper financial controls are in place, overseeing cost management, procurement, and pricing strategies.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure adherence to national and international laws regarding arms production and export.
  • Maintain strict security protocols for both physical and information security related to the manufacturing of ammunition.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats or disruptions in operations.
  • Leadership & Team Development:
  • Lead and mentor the senior management team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and performance.
  • Develop the company's talent pool, ensuring succession planning and professional development of key personnel.
  • Ensure a safe working environment that promotes health and safety standards.
Requirements

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior executive leadership role, ideally as a CEO, COO, or equivalent in the defense or manufacturing industry.
  • Deep knowledge of small arms ammunition manufacturing processes, regulations, and international defense markets.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in strategic planning, financial management, and operations oversight.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of managing diverse teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven track record in business development and expanding market presence, particularly in the defense sector.
  • Experience working in the Middle East, with a solid understanding of the cultural and regulatory environment of Qatar.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with government entities, particularly in defense.
  • Knowledge of international arms regulations, including ITAR and Wassenaar Arrangement compliance.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is highly advantageous.
