Supply Chain Manager

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for driving Supply Chain execution throughout Qatar and Pakistan delivering year over year performance improvement, and for contributing to the development of an industry leading supply chain environment. The Supply Chain Manager will be a critical partner to the Supply Chain Director to execute supply chain activity effectively and efficiently within the region, leveraging global processes for materials, procurement, logistics, and sourcing.

Responsibilities:

1. Supports and contributes to the development, implementation, and execution of strategic supply chain processes in support of supply chain and business objectives.
2. Accountable for maximizing service levels, in conjunction with inventory goals, through distribution requirement planning and deployments.
3. Analyses current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the region and the company.
4. Identify opportunities and implement action plans to increase efficiencies and decrease cost.
5. Identify process problems and concerns and make recommendations for innovative solutions and corrective actions to achieve desirable results, help the company better manage cost on supplies and supplier services.
6. Drives the Geozone Logistics and Warehouse day to day operations to reflect internal customer needs and summarize business requirements aligned with the global strategy.
7. Work with order management sales & marketing, product managers, manufacturing, suppliers in support of business objectives ensuring alignment of Supply & Demand.
8. Develop and monitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.
9. Works closely with Geozone operations to enhance performance at the point of impact whether in specific country operations and/or contracts.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 10+ years of experience at management level in inventory, warehousing operations, supply chain management or similar experience.
2. Strong leadership skills including leading projects with broad scope and impact outside of department.
3. Excellent knowledge of inventory management.
4. Fluent English both written and verbal.
5. Strong problem solving, negotiating, solutions orientation and presentation skills.
6. Capable of analysing and solving complex problems through innovative thought.
7. Excellent negotiation skills and contract management.
8. Strong product or market knowledge.

Preferred:

1. Supply Chain Management certification.
