Job Description

QNB Group - the leading financial institution in the Middle East and North Africa - with a Net Profit of US$2.3 billion in 2012 is seeking a Supervisor Issuance in the growing Group HQ in Doha. The role is responsible for assisting the Issuance for Import L/Cs services by ensuring timely and seamless processing of transactions and conduct of activities pertaining to trade finance operations in the most effective and efficient manner resulting in the highest level of customer service quality and ensuring that the related financial and operational risks are mitigated.

Job Skills

You will ensure handling of Import Letters of Credit with strict compliance to Group's policies and procedures and International Chamber of Commerce Rules. You will verify the accuracy of all transactions before authorizing, in order to secure the position of QNB and its clients and authorize transactions for opening letters of credit, amendment, and cancellation, within the limit as per the credit policy. In addition, you will provide periodical reports of issued and outstanding import letters of credit, and margins to the Assistant Manager Issuance to enable him to monitor the workflow and income. The successful candidate will be a Bachelor degree holder and have 5-7 years of experience in Foreign Trade Operations, with at least 1 year at a managerial level.
