What You'll Do
  • Perform all major and routine maintenance and complete major equipment repairs, related to Aggreko equipment, ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality in line with Aggreko standards and procedures whilst ensuring accurate and precise information is reported through the current ERP system.
  • Able to perform in-depth fault finding and diagnosis on electrical systems related to the product field.
  • Complete all service related documentation in line with Aggreko process maps in a timely manner.
  • Lead site installations (to designed layout), commissioning and decommissioning to acceptable Aggreko standards if needed.
  • Lead Yard/site operations encompassing sub-contractor labour as and when determined by local management.
  • Provide technical support and mentoring to potential LV-S/M/I/C candidates from within the local AME depot business.
  • Liaise with the local store person to ensure parts availability for the specific tasks being conducted.
  • React effectively to technical support of field equipment breakdowns in a timely manner in and out of working hours when required.
We're experts, which means you'll have the following skills and experience:
  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or acceptable equivalent qualifications/experience
  • Knowledge and experience in the mechanical field
  • Availability to travel as and when required
  • Possession of valid local Driving License as per the need of the business
  • Site/Depot based job requiring both technical and manual work to be conducted in all weather and terrain
  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Proficiency in local language
  • Basic working knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Good comprehensive level of technical knowledge relating to the job role and associated activities
  • Able to carry out a wide range of complex technical tasks without supervision or guidance
  • Able to make technical decisions for self and others in the context of the work role and associated activities without supervision
  • Able to effectively communicate detailed levels of technical knowledge to others relating to the job role and associated activities
  • Takes responsibility for HSE requirements for self and others. Leads others towards raising HSE standards
  • Quality oriented with attention to detail and capable of working to deadlines
  • Able to work long hours in demanding conditions
