Job Description

Minimum 8 years of extensive experience in Hyperion implementation.

Not a support consultant nor a member of the implementation team for the application nor rollout implementation team member. The candidate must have implemented Oracle Hyperion:

Cycle from start installation, requirement gathering, documentation, configuration, training, testing to Go-Live.

Minimum 2 implementations:

Should be with the public sector, Government, SIFMIS, IFMIS, GIFMIS including, knowledge on pre-budget processes/activities for generating budget ceiling, issuance of budget call circular, budget process management/workflow and report building using Financial Reporting Studio (FRS).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions, workshops, meetings, etc. to understand business requirements and configure the system accordingly.
  • Conduct CRP and Sprint sessions with business owners.
  • Document requirements and translate them to applications.
  • Work with technical consultants to understand business requirements.
  • Develop business and application documents to meet client requirements.
  • Manage documentation and deliverables related to Hyperion Planning and Budgeting.
  • Develop and maintain planning data entry forms.
  • Develop and maintain business rules.
  • Develop and maintain task lists, calculation scripts, and reports to support business requirements for planning cycles and reporting goals in Hyperion Planning.
  • Manage Hyperion Essbase, Planning, Strategy Finance, SmartView, DRM, and Reporting.
  • Design and maintain all Hyperion financial reports.
  • Provide support and functional assistance to end users of Workspace and Smart View for Planning and Essbase/Reporting.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and be involved in every phase of implementation.
  • Provide end-to-end documentation related to the installation and implementation of the Hyperion planning application, including deliverables attached to each phase of the project.
  • Effectively and accurately communicate with management regarding project status, issue identification, and remediation.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
  • Have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and excellent communication.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Functional Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
  • Business Requirement and Analysis.
  • Strong Documentation Skills.
  • Ability to translate requirements to applications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrate ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization.
  • The ability to work closely with users to understand business needs and tailor solutions to those requirements.
  • 8+ years' experience with Oracle Hyperion planning.
  • Maintain a positive can-do attitude and proactively reach out to users to provide solutions to issues.
  • Some level of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite. Able to understand how budget data from Hyperion Planning interacts with E-Business Suite applications and vice versa.
