HAUK & SASKO is a German company which provides market leading software solutions for material handling and web-based information management. We specialize in digitalization solutions for ports, plants and for the mining industry. In this context we are offering the following position at our office in Doha, Qatar:

Senior Front End Developer

You will start with an onboarding period of approximately 6 months at our company head office in Stuttgart, Germany. We will integrate you into our English-speaking team which is working on mining software / port operation software projects in South America, North Africa and the Middle East. Once you have become familiar with our solutions and work environment, you will join our staff at HAUK & SASKO's office in Doha, Qatar.

As part of our team, you will be performing software engineering that will create new code, new systems or system updates, upgrades and configurations. You will engage in pair programming and be part of our high performing team during challenging sprints. You will participate in analyzing errors, resolving problems, and supporting the customers in their everyday use of the systems.

Your main job tasks:

  • Develop applications in web technologies (Typescript / Angular)
  • Participate as part of an agile development team in various projects
  • Join HAUK & SASKO's German office remotely in software development

Requirements:

  • University degree (B.Sc. or Master) in computer science or similar subject
  • At least 3 years of business/IT experience
  • High proficiency in UI development with proven work experience
  • Excellent knowledge of Angular/Typescript with experience in the use of NgRx
  • Familiar with HTML5, CSS3, CSS preprocessors
  • Experience in the use of IntelliJ IDEA, build tools, and in testing / QA is a plus
  • Friendly, outgoing and engaging personality who can build a rapport with colleagues and clients
  • Motivated team-player with the willingness to develop a detailed understanding of our customer's business processes and their requirements for software and services
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen, advise and present effective technical solutions
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
