NIGHT CLUB OPERATIONS MANAGER

TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages subordinates within the bars areas. Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Hotel's & Radisson Blu policies & applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include training employees, scheduling, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, recommending rewards and discipline of employees to Manager of Food and Beverage addressing guest complaints and resolving problems.
  • Leads and guides the outlet team towards the F&B mission statement.
  • Successfully attends training courses to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Strives to ensure all bar operations achieve expected financial results.
  • Minimizes staff turnover to lowest levels by development and coaching.
  • Continuously focus on correct measures to ensure maximum profits for the restaurant. Follow up with purchasing department on any items not available within the F&B stores.
  • Maximizes employee productivity by correct scheduling and adjust schedules to business needs.
  • Conduct and record weekly payrolls to the standards of the hotel.
  • Implements innovative & creative ideas to optimize revenue and profits in the department.
  • Establish and upkeep par levels for supplies, liquor, beers, wine, soft beverages, and bar equipment.
  • Enforce correct requisitions, controls, inventory, re-stocking and storing procedures.
  • Be familiar with all financial aspect of the bar outlets by review of monthly results.
  • Liaise with the cost control and financial department on new product costing for Micros billing changes.
  • Continuously controls and updates monthly/annual leave records of his staff.
  • Works closely with the Banquet manager and Outlets manager on improving opportunities at his/her outlet.
  • To communicate to both internal and external customers in a polite, courteous and constructive manner.
  • Entirely capable to prioritize, organize and delegate work assignments.
  • Directs and corrects performance of all team members & follows up corrective training.
  • Motivates bar teams to be seen as a cohesive unit at all times.
  • Continuously promotes positive work relationship with kitchen staff & F&B departments. Thinks clearly, analyses & resolves challenges and obstacles, exercising good judgment.
  • Ascertains team training needs & provides such training at consistent levels.
  • Monitors team's attendance record, punch correction and takes progressive disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Prepare and follow up compliance with weekly schedules in accordance with staffing guidelines and labor forecast.
  • Ensure that all communication tools are being used efficiently and the information flow to all levels.
  • Ensure that team members report to work as scheduled.
  • Enforce all procedures of monitoring employee attendance is being completed.
  • Ensure that the assignation of bars, duties and meal breaks are in accordance with departmental procedures.
  • Identify situations which compromise the department's standards and address them accordingly.
  • Review attendance of employees at daily outlet briefings.
  • Practices 'Yes I Can' attitude.

Requirements:

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in a night club or in an entertainment bar in a 4* or 5* category.
  • Preferably a hotel school graduate or a diploma holder.
  • Fluent in English and speaking Arabic is an added advantage.
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging work environment.
  • Having strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to manage a Night Club with a sitting and standing capacity of 1450.
  • Nationality: European / Eastern Asian and Asian.
  • Age limit: 30 to 40 years old.

Salary: QAR.5000 – 6000 Based on experience (Negotiable) + Single Accommodation in a sharing flat + Meals + Transportation.
